Buri Sriphu Boutique Hotel Hatyai
Last post on my January Hat Yai post(so sorry this seems like forever) on the hotel that we stayed!
If you missed it, read about the 3D2N here.
The mini garden as we drove into the hotel, love the tulip lamps!
They look magical especially at night, it's like a secret garden leading you on an adventure!

The spacious lobby with super high ceiling, you can tell that the hotel
is a little quirky with those colorful vases and lights above.
And oh, ample parkings here for hotel guests!
Love the waiting area especially this chair with headlamp which reminded me of The Good Dinosaur!
What more to love about this hotel is that it is located in the center of Hat Yai
where everything you need is very reachable, by that I mean shopping and eating mostly!
Green Way Nightmarket and Lee Garden are just 5 minutes away,
less than 10 minutes was Big C hypermarket, the place that we got all our Lays chips and
most importantly, 7-11 is just behind the hotel!
They have 90 rooms decorated in Lanna contemporary style with minimalist design of white and earth tones.

So without further ado, let's take a look at our room!
Our Superior Room was located at the new wing with this giant lantern lamp welcoming us.
Our room for two was a quaint one, equipped with everything we need -
drinking water, mini bar, LCD TV, bath robes, slippers and toiletries. Couldn't have asked for more!
Of course, all rooms come with free wi-fi. How can anyone live without wi-fi am I right?
Now heading to the old wing where they have greens growing in the middle,
it's a rare scene and certainly refreshing as we don't have many hotel that has this anymore in Penang.
Oriental Suite
The rather bigger rooms with a playful element where the bathrooms are visible from the room
(by choice) so if you're staying with your partner, enjoy some naughty, fun time
but if you're staying with your friends, good luck with pranks hehehe

They have got 10 function rooms with 3 main ballrooms, the 3 of them were occupied with weddings
over the weekend we were there! Seemingly a very popular hotel to hold weddings.
Now the most important thing in life, FOOD!

Breakfast was definitely delightful especially in buffet style!
The menu was international - a little bit of Chinese, Thai and Western.
Oh the koko krunch was not mine, haven't had those for years, it's too sweet for me now.
How can someone possibly not love you hearty eggs? T—T
Our breakfast view was the old wing greenery with tulip lamps, ahh life
I am sorry to say that I underestimated the food they were going to serve us on our last night,
which turned out to be the best meal we had in Hat Yai!
So guys, even if you're not staying at this hotel, their food is certainly worth your time!

Hat Yai Deep Fried Chicken [300 Thai Baht]
Deep Fried Seabass with Sweet and Sour Sauce [600 Thai Baht]
Fried Fresh Water Shrimps with Tamarind Sauce [800 Thai Baht]
Tomyam with Fresh Water Prawns [600 Baht]
I know you might think the meal should be too oily or guilty to handle as there were a few
deep fried dishes but trust me, it was not at all! Enjoyed each and every dishes -
the chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, so was the water shrimps,
which leads me to the water shrimps in the tomyam, can you believe how huge that is?
Big, fat, fresh and succulent water shrimps, sucking all the sweet, sour and spicy tomyam soup!
You can see how much love I had for this tomyam lol.
Dip this in the sweet, sour and garlicky Thai chili sauce, guarantee you cannot stop!
And of course, a good Thai meal must end with its best mango sticky rice which was on point!
Huge thanks to Buri Sriphu Hotel for hosting our wonderful stay, PTS Travel for arranging,
Kerson Media and Peugeot CS Euro for sponsoring the trip!
